On the 25th May 2020, SmallWall’s ‘Cosy Cocoon’ garnered national attention when it featured on the News Headlines.

RTE’s Teresa Mannion, paid a visit to St. Joseph’s Special School in Galway city where she met with kids enjoying the cocoons; spoke with the man behind the idea, Sean Dunleavy; and spoke with the principal of the special school, Ms. Sarah McGinley, who said she cried when she first saw them.

On the 25th May 2020, SmallWall’s ‘Cosy Cocoon’ garnered national attention when it featured on the News Headlines.

RTE’s Teresa Mannion, paid a visit to St. Joseph’s Special School in Galway city where she met with kids enjoying the cocoons; spoke with the man behind the idea, Sean Dunleavy; and with spoke the principal of the special school, Ms. Sarah McGinley, who said she cried when she first saw them.

Ms. McGinley had been looking for a way to create safe, cosy spaces on the playground, where pupils of St. Joseph’s could take time-out of its busy playground and retreat to a calm spot with necessary.
