Ballyshannon National School is situated in the Parish of Suncroft, it was established in 1901, catering for 122 children from 4 to 12 years.
The school has a very active Parents’ Association which supports the 14 staff, the school and community. There are lots of extra-curricular activities on offer, including; Junior Entrepreneur, Discovery Primary Science, Green Schools, Active Schools, Cumann na mBunscoil, Soccer, Rugby, Debating, Chess, Gaelic Football and Choir. In 2017 the school also began construction of its own Sensory Garden.
We installed a total of 10 Traverse Climbing Boards on the gable end of the school building.
