Gaelscoil na Cruaiche is an all-Irish School located in Westport, Co Mayo and opened in September 1995.
At present, there are eleven permanent teachers on staff, which consists of eight class teachers, two learning support teachers and an administrative principal.
The school moved to a permanent school building in June 2011. At present, there are 215 pupils attending the school, from Junior Infants to Sixth Class, and over 20 pupils attending the Naíonra (the pre-school year) which is facilitated within the school building along with a staff of 11 teachers.
The schools classroom assistant Debbie, created a painted background on the two walls where we installed 16 Horizontal Climbing Boards which really finished off the area beautifully.
4 Balance Boards were also added to the play area to encourage childrens development of balance, posture and motor skills.
