Glenfields Community Childcare centre is located in Ballyvolane, Co Cork. The creche provides day care and preschool service for over 80 children in an environment that promotes the physical, intellectual, language, emotional and social development of all attending.
We worked with Glenfields to develop two separate play areas suitable for young children attending the creche facilities and the preschool service. Our products, along with some additional work carried out by the creche caretaker has resulted in a balance of stimulating play areas along with some chill out zones for children needing a safe area to self regulate. Installation consisted of a creche board, 2 junior cocoons, a pryamid and balance board in the creche area and a bridge, 2 junior cocoons, 8 traverse climbing boards and a balance board in the preschool area.
