Kilcolgan Eductate Together National School has an enrolment of over 200 students located in a new school built in Clarinbridge in 2016.
We installed 8 Traverse Climbing Boards just before the school closed for Christmas 2020, so the children had two days of use before the holidays and lockdown. The school principal Anna, reported some great feedback on how the children got on.
Below is a lovely message from the teachers and BOM to the students posted on their school website newspage.
“Yesterday the children arrived to school to find a new climbing wall and a message that read:
To all the wonderful students at KETNS;
You have come through a very strange year and you have been amazing! You bring smiles and enthusiasm to our school every day. Here is a present for you to mark this year.
Happy Solstice, Nollaig Shona, Happy New Year and Happy Climbing!
What a lovely way to finish off the year. Thanks to the Board of Management for sanctioning this. ‘Climbing the walls’ will have a new meaning for us going forward!”
