St Marys School in Delvin, Westmeath is a special school of education for children and young people aged between 4 and 18 who have moderate, severe/profound general learning disabilities and moderate or severe autism. Children attending the school enjoy an enjoyable range of activities including swimming, pony riding, cookery, gardening and I.C.T.
Those who are able, take part in competitions organised by Special Olympics Ireland.
We installed a range of products including tables to St Marys. Some products were being installed onto a grass area so required special fixing points. The products will also be moved at a later date when the school opens its new build.
For such an active school, the products installed included a senior table for outdoor learning, a junior messy play table, 2 large messy play tables, a junior cocoon, 2 senior cocoons, balance boards, target board and a bridge.
